Wire Cages

You will find an endless variety of wire cages on the market, with an equally endless number of variations. Some wire cages are all metal, while some have wire tops with hard plastic bottoms. There are wire cages with and without raised flooring, and wire cages with pull-out trays. Some open from the top, and some open from the side. Some are large; some are small.

No matter what the particulars, you can't go wrong with a wire cage. It's easy to clean, fairly lightweight, see-through, chew-proof and comes in sizes appropriate for mice, rats, hamsters, gerbils, cavies, rabbits, chinchillas, hedgehogs, ferrets and other small animals. Some wire cages come equipped with exercise wheels, an important addition for some of the smaller pets.
