The Best Spot for Your Pet's Home
Proper placement of your pet's cage in the house is essential. Think about where you would like the habitat to be if you were going to live in it. Let common sense guide your choice. Place the cage where it maintains a constant, comfortable temperature (free from drafts or direct sunlight), is easily accessible and is safe. Avoid windowsills, which are too hot during summer and too cold during winter. If you plan to place the cage outside--a rabbit hutch, for example--make sure it is well protected from the elements. It must not be exposed to excess heat, cold or moisture.
