Hamster Habitat
Largely marketed toward hamster owners, colorful, see-through plastic habitats with tunnels, tubes and rooms are a fine housing choice. The enclosed environment supposedly simulates the small rodent's natural burrows and tunnels, and it is certainly fun to watch small animals cruise throughout the maze of tunnels. These plastic habitats are washable, nonchewable and seem to come apart easily, though they may be more expensive than other housing options.
