A few pointers will keep your training sessions pleasant.

1. Do not work with the bird if you are in a bad mood or if you are tired.

2. Young birds may look like adults, but they are still physically and emotionally immature, and may tire quickly.

3. Set clear boundaries for your bird, and don't send mixed messages.

4. Make the training environment physically safe and secure.

5. Reward and praise your bird when it does well.

6. Keep the training periods fun, and don't tire out your bird.
